1. I am not a racist.
2. I do not hate Black people. (Duh…)
3. I have never, nor would I ever, say that anyone’s place of business is a front for drug activity.
4. I have never been involved in “putting articles in the paper” with regard to #3 above. I was featured in an article in the Baltimore Sun, but anyone with a second-grade education should be able to read and understand it.
5. I do not spend my days calling the police on drug addicts, drug dealers, random pedestrians, or anyone else. You might have that kind of free time, but I don’t.
And may I add, anyone who says otherwise is a fucking asshole.

Because obviously it bears repeating. From the December 21st Blotter:
Shooting // A man, 46, and his wife were walking in the 1100 block of S. Carey St. about 8 p.m. Wednesday when they were stopped by a gunman who demanded their money and valuables. During a struggle with the gunman, the husband was shot in the neck and a hand. The woman was not injured. The victims fled to their house nearby and called 911. The husband was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The gunman fled with no money or property and was being sought.
If you are approached by a stranger with a gun, who is demanding your valuables, GIVE. THEM. UP. This is the second story I’ve heard about someone struggling with their robber/burglar, and both times, the victim ended up injured — one guy received quite the ass-whipping (and never mind the public humiliation) and now this poor guy was shot.
DO. NOT. argue with a robber who is pointing a gun at you.
