So I promised someone I would make him a tiramisu, and a quick search turned up a recipe on her blog — it was fate. Karma. Whatever. Good Lord it looks like a lot of work, but I said I would do it…maybe this weekend. We’ll see.

I started that today, and honestly it wasn’t that bad — it’s only an extra hour, and the weekend hours haven’t changed. Plus it’s kind of nice being up and about when the neighborhood is quiet. Could it be that I am turning into a morning person?
I’ve brought back the chicken salad sandwich…on a bagel. People seem to like it, so I’m sticking with that. I’m also baking like crazy — this weekend’s treats are going to be fun. Stay tuned for that.
Not much happening in the ‘hood these days…it’s been mighty quiet.
