This morning, a neighbor who lives on McHenry (between Otterbein and Scott) was mugged. The mugger was described as a black male, 50-55 years old, 5′8″ or 9″ tall, dark skin and short hair. He was also walking with a fake limp and used a cane…which he then used to hit the victim before snatching her purse. This happened at approximately 9 AM.

This is disturbing. Although not quite on the same level, remember how Ted Bundy pretended to be injured (arm in sling, etc.) in order to lure women into his car? Horrible.
Thankfully all he did was snatch the woman’s purse…but yes, it could have been a lot worse. I hope someone finds him and beats the shit out of him with his cane.
