Thanks to this post from Anonymous CoWorker, I called the number to opt out. If you have Verizon Wireless, go read the post and call the number — unless, of course, you don’t mind your personal information being sold to God-knows-who for God-knows-what-reason.

I didn’t see it either, nor do I remember getting a letter about it, so when I read ACW’s blog the other day, I was shocked. It’s one thing to get telemarketing crap at home, but on a cel phone? We *pay* for that time, and hell if I’m paying to be solicited. PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT.
